Bio – Tamanna Bhatia popularly known as Tamannaah is an actress and model of India. She predominantly appears in South Indian movies, while made her debut in Bollywood films in the year 2005 called Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. Her first Telugu film includes the movie Sri, while the very next year she appeared in the Tamil movie known as Kedi. In the year 2007, she was seen acting two movies called Happy Days and Kalloori (Tamil) and both of them were critically acclaimed. Some of her commercially acclaimed movies include Ayan, Paiyaa and Siruthai, which helped her to secure a stable position of Tamilian actress. The year 2011 is seen as her comeback for Telugu cinema with the movie called 100% Love that garnered applauds. The other successful Telugu movies include Racha, Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, Veeram and Thadaka, which also gave her recognition in Telugu movies.

As far as her early life is concerned, she was born and brought in Bombay to Santhosh and Rajani Bhatia. She comes from a Sindhi descent with no film background. She did her schooling from Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust School. She has changed her screen name for the numerological reason. She started working at the age of 13 years and was spotted in her school annual function to get an opportunity to work with certain movies. She also has appeared in a video album of Abhjeet Sawan in his song called Lafzon Mein Keh Na Saku.

Tamannaah debuted in Hindi movies with the film called Chand Sa Roahsn Chehra in the year 2005 but not offered any other Bollywood movie till she finally got Himmatwala in the year 2013. In the meanwhile, she was busy doing a number of Tamil and Telugu films in the south, which has helped her to become leading south Indian actress. She gave both commercially hit and average movies in Tamil and Telugu film world, and her consistency made her ways back to Bollywood wherein she got Himmatwala against Ajay Devan, which is Sajid Khan’s movie.

Also, her upcoming Hindi movies include Humshakals, which will be releasing this 20th while the other one is called as It’s Entertainment scheduled to be released in August 2014. Besides, she has a couple of Telugu and Tamil movies this year and the coming year as well. She has bagged a couple of awards for her south Indian films. Apart from her acting, she also endorses a number of brands, which include Fanta, Chandrika Ayurvedia soap and Celkon Mobiles. Besides, she is also the brand ambassador of two Salem based jewellery stores called Khazana Jewellery and AVR. She also appears a couple of south Indian based ads.
